Credit Card Fraud

Unless you do something or sell something to tick off a hacker, credit card fraud will be the most common thorn in your side. Whether it is someone who ripped off a credit card number or simply a kid using Mom's card to buy those CDs his parents refused to purchase, credit card fraud is an annoyance. If allowed to continue, it can be a financial disaster. Fortunately, it's also avoidable. It simply takes a little knowledge about what to look for and a lot of patience in verifying information to limit (and hopefully eliminate) fraud. When you realize that you not only lose merchandise but usually the money from the sale as well, it becomes worthwhile to do everything necessary to thwart online thieves.
