A Variety of Crime

Before you prevent a crime, you must know what you are trying to prevent. There are essentially three kinds of crimes a Web merchant must be aware of—those that are perpetuated electronically, those that are order-related, and those that are directed physically at your place of business. Some examples of these crimes are listed in Table 15.1.
