What's Next?

In this chapter, you learned about applying styles to HTML tables. You should now have a good understanding of how to control spacing, padding, and borders. You should also understand how to control the colors and backgrounds of row groups and column groups, as well as how to apply horizontal and vertical borders to your table.

In the next part, Part VI, “Getting Deeper Into Using Styles,” you apply much of what you've learned so far, as well as new features not yet covered, in developing and designing some actual, real-world Web projects. In the next chapter, “Creating Menus and Interfaces,” you create a variety of different menus and interfaces, including interactive boxed, floating, sidebar, and ribbon menus.
