Participating in the Web Standards Project

Another option for dealing with both browsers that don't support CSS and those that only partially support it is to join the Web Standards Project.

The Web Standards Project (WaSP) is a coalition of Web developers and users formed to persuade browser makers of the importance of standards and to encourage users to upgrade to the latest standards-compliant Web browsers. Of particular interest to CSS-authors is the WaSP's Browser Upgrade Initiative (see http://www.webstandards.org/upgrade/what.html), which provides two methods that CSS-authors can use to deal with earlier non-standards-compliant browsers that either don't support or only partially and imperfectly support the current CSS standards.
