A Bulletproof Approach

I'm going to share a strategy that's been successful for me in my own projects, combining absolute-size keywords with percentages. Using keyword values for the font-size property solves the problem we exposed earlier with eyeglasses.com (and millions of other sites). Unlike with pixels, users' browsers will be able to adjust the size of text on the page, regardless of what browser or device they are using. Let's take a look at how keywords work.

KEYWORDS EXPLAINED

As outlined earlier, we can choose from seven possible values when using keywords: xx-small, x-small, small, medium, large, x-large, xx-large. Here's how one value would be used in a declaration for assigning the size of text on the <body> element:
