Creating Drop-Down Menus

Drop-down menus have been a favorite GUI (graphical user interface) device for years. The menu header appears as a single word at the top of the window or screen that, when clicked, displays a list of further options. In a File menu, for example, you might find Save, Close, and Print.

Now you can achieve the same effect on the Web with DHTML (Figures 24.7 and 24.8).
