Creating a Fixed Header

One principle of good Web design is letting people know where they are at all times. Unfortunately, Web pages scroll, and important information about the page being viewed, such as the page title, can scroll off the top.

Using CSS, you can fix the title at the top of the Web page so that no matter how far visitors scroll, they always know where they are in the Web site (Figure 22.9).
