Chapter 22. Web Page Layout > Netscape CSS Bug Fix

Netscape CSS Bug Fix

Netscape has an obvious, and often- complained-about CSS bug. When visitors resize their browsers, all CSS formatting that comes from an external CSS file (one that was imported via the <link> tag) mysteriously disappears, as though the linked style sheet never existed. If the visitor reloads the page, however, the CSS reappears (Figures 22.1 and 22.2). This bug can be a big turnoff for visitors to your site, especially if they don't know that reloading the page solves the problem.

Figure 22.1. How the page should look in Netscape.
