Finding the Screen Dimensions

The screen—that glowing, slightly rounded glass panel you stare at all day—is where all the windows that make up your Web site reside. You can try making Web sites with Morse code or punch cards, but trust me on this one: The cathode ray tube is currently the best medium for displaying Web sites (Figures 12.6 and 12.7).
