Creating a Smart Menu

In the preceding section, I showed you how to toggle between two graphics, depending on where the mouse pointer is. But you need to teach your Web site when to show a particular graphic, depending on which Web page is displayed. In other words, when a page loads into a frame, it tells the menu what section it is in, and the menu updates itself to indicate the correct section (Figure 25.18).

Figure 25.18. As soon as option1.html loads, it tells the menu which tab should be selected (in this case, Option 1).
