22.5. ruby-position Property

The third ruby CSS property is ruby-position, which specifies the position of the ruby text in relation to the ruby base: either above it or on the same level as the base.

Under Internet Explorer 5.x, it takes two values: above and inline. The default for this value is above (which is the normal behavior for ruby) and inline essentially places the ruby text immediately after the ruby base (effectively removing the effects of the ruby box).
