Chapter 12. Box Properties > indent-edge-reset Property

12.24. indent-edge-reset Property

When the CSS3 property float-displace is set to indent, the indent-edge-reset property is there to determine which edge should be the reference indent page, enabling the browser to figure out how much indenting space to reserve.

It can take one of six different values: none, margin-edge, border-edge, padding-edge, content-edge and inherit. none is the default, and tells the browser not to introduce a reference edge. margin-edge, border-edge, padding-edge and content-edge all tell the browser to use the selected edge as the reference edge. Finally, the inherit value takes on whatever parent value may already be present.
