Chapter 32. Event Scheduling > Using the Administrator to Edit Tasks

Using the Administrator to Edit Tasks

The Administrator also allows you to edit a task by simply selecting it from the first screen and changing any values you want. This makes the one-time executions using the Now option more sensible. Once a task is selected, any value associated with it can be altered. Once the changes are done, selecting Update loads the task into the registry. You should note that this has the same effect as a new task in all ways; the old one is gone and the new one has to be recognized by the scheduling service. Deletion of tasks is handled the same way, but with a single button for removal.
