Chapter 10. Nested Coding Concepts > Placing Code in a Fusebox Application

Placing Code in a Fusebox Application

Going back for a moment to Figure 10.1, it’s clear that some confusion might arise when figuring out exactly where to place code to achieve a desired effect relative to selected portions of a Fusebox application. Placement of code will vary depending on whether the effect is intended to be applicable to a single fuse, a fuseaction, a whole circuit, or the entire application. Let’s take a brief look at each of these cases in the context of setting a variable.

To Affect a Fuse

The simplest decision to make is where to place code that will impact a single fuse. On the face of it, the answer to this situation is to drop some code in the fuse and be done with it. We need to consider some things before we move on, though.
