Part IV: Appendixes > Council Sites

Council Sites

The Fusebox Council is the primary organizational element of the Fusebox community. These are people who pushed, molded, and maintained Fusebox prior to the formal community organization in early 2002. Council members’ sites are not necessarily Fusebox exclusive, but they do have a wide variety of resources available:

  • www.secretagents.com (Steve Nelson)— Steve’s site is aimed at the application architect and the idea of using an “army of fusecoders.” Some nice downloads and online training are available here.

  • www.halhelms.com (Hal Helms)— Hal’s site has several areas, including some of his writing and a collection of the code he has discussed in various venues.

  • www.grokfusebox.com (Jeff Peters)— GrokFusebox.com is about “getting it.” You will find links to resources about Fusebox and ColdFusion in general. Be sure to visit Grok’s Goodies, where you can download Fusebox-related utilities; and participate in the “I Had This Great Snippet” project.

  • www.fusium.com (Nat Papovich/Erik Voldengen)— Nat and Erik have combined forces to offer Fusebox development and consulting along with developer resources and tools. Find improved Fusebox core files, fuseminder2, and Rebar at fusium.com.
