ColdFusion MX includes a number of Java-based controls that you can add to your ColdFusion pages. The idea behind the controls is to pick up where HTML form controls leave off. Instead of being limited to simple checkboxes, radio buttons, and text input fields, the Java-based controls give you the ability to add trees, editable data grids, sliders, and other widgets to your pages.
