Part: I Jukebox > Delivery

Chapter I-5. Delivery

With the development and final features of the jukebox in place, my team is ready to launch the jukebox on the Morning Records Web site. Since the jukebox and its related files are on our testing server, we'll have to migrate everything to the staging server and then to the live server. The staging server will be our final opportunity for testing before going live. As with all applications we create, after the jukebox has been up for a few days, my team will get together for a postmortem to figure out what went right and wrong with the application's development. This helps us in planning the next application. In addition, we gather feedback from customers. The feedback, whether from internal or external customers, is invaluable when planning for Phase 2 of any project. For the jukebox, since the feedback will be coming from customers outside of the company, Angie will take care of gathering and analyzing it and then report back to my team on it. From there, we'll combine notes from both meetings and begin mapping out a plan for Phase 2 of the jukebox.
