Construction Review

Since the design phase, TSC's approach to the project had changed to accommodate the Flash Communication Server. This new technology did not have much of an impact on the requirements or design document, as these were developed in a manner that did not rely on technology-specific functionality.

Creating a prototype of the product helped the developers to fully understand the system's strengths and weaknesses. The prototyping was done as soon as the required system could be identified. In theory, prototypes should be developed and then discarded before beginning construction of the production system. However, in reality this may not always be the case.
