Ben Forta is Macromedia Inc.'s Senior Product Evangelist, and has two decades of experience in the computer industry in product development, support, training, and marketing. Ben is the author of the best-selling ColdFusion Web Application Construction Kit and its sequel Advanced ColdFusion Application Development, as well as books on SQL, JavaServer Pages, WAP, Windows development, and more. Over ¼ million Ben Forta books have been printed in a dozen languages worldwide. Ben co-authored the official Macromedia ColdFusion training material, as well as the certification tests and Macromedia Press study guides for those tests, and is now working on several new titles in his Reality ColdFusion series. He writes regular columns on ColdFusion and Internet development, and now spends a considerable amount of time lecturing and speaking on application development worldwide. Dennis Baldwin's main focus is to stay on top of technology and find exciting new ways to push the envelope of Web development. He currently maintains a couple of online resources for Flash and ColdFusion developers at www.flashcfm.com and www.devmx.com. He is also the lead developer for Eternal Media (www.eternal-media.com), a Web and multimedia firm that offers technology solutions for ministries and non-profit organizations.

Randy H. Drisgill is the Chief Technology Officer for Vshift (www.vshift.com), a Macromedia Alliance Solution Provider Partner located in Orlando, Florida. At Vshift, he has been architecting, managing, designing, and developing dynamic Web applications for companies throughout the country. Randy completed his bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Central Florida, which is where he got his start working in the Web business. From there he worked at Lockheed Martin's Enterprise Information Systems on several enterprise level initiatives including being lead developer for lockheedmartin.com. With over seven years working on the Web, Randy is a Certified Advanced ColdFusion Developer, has authored articles for the ColdFusion Developers Journal, and has been a technical editor for other ColdFusion books.

Derek Lu lives in San Francisco with his girlfriend and two cats who wake up too early in the morning.

Matt Tatam is a developer who started getting involved in developing ColdFusion applications when it was in its second version. His contracts have led him to assist a large number of corporations across UK, Europe and Australia. As a Macromedia Trainer in other technologies such as Java, Java Server Pages, and Spectra he has trained in the UK and Europe. This training had led him to creating and delivering corporate training materials for XML, CF, and Flash. Matt is now back in Australia contracting to a number of Government bodies.
