Lesson 4. Using Forms with ColdFusion

Lesson 4. Using Forms with ColdFusion

Forms are an important aspect of many successful Web sites. Forms are available in HTML; you don't need ColdFusion to build them. But you do need ColdFusion to process the information that is entered into forms—the information you collect from your audience and use to build order pages and to perform a host of other tasks. You can, for example, use ColdFusion to email information that was submitted from a form, store or update information in a database, or simply redisplay the information.

In this lesson you will be working with a simple contact form used to send comments or questions.
