Production

When we talk about the production of a speech-recognition system, we're referring not to the programming, but rather to the design of the audio portion of the system—in other words, everything the callers hear when they phone in. Any application that talks to people requires, at minimum, some form of audio source that asks questions and makes statements; for example, “What is your account number?”
