The Timeline

There are two basic ways to use Flash: through visual tools (the “designer” approach) and through ActionScript (the “developer” approach). The Timeline is Flash's main visual organizing tool, allowing you to arrange your content in both time (frames) and space (layers). It contains the playhead, which indicates the current frame (see Figure 15.1).
