Applying Actions in GoLive

The process for adding an action to a page element is threefold: Start by selecting the object that will receive the event. For example, if moving the mouse over a link will invoke the JavaScript, select the link within the Document Window. Then, bring up the Actions palette and select the desired user event. Finally, add and define a new action within the Actions palette. Regardless of the action being defined, this process remains the same.

The following demonstration details this process. In this example, the user will be able to drag the floating box and its contents by clicking and pressing down on a link.
