Fixing a Content Source That Fails

When I create a Custom Merchant data source, it fails the test. What do I do?

Seven times out of ten, the cause of a failed data source test is a typo in the URL. If you’ve used the test source listed here in the book, it’s possible that the service provider may have changed their test address since this book went to print. The eighth time out of ten, you may be using an invalid merchant ID. In either of these cases, you’re going to need to telephone the service provider and check your information. They’ll be glad to help: They want you as a customer.
