Chapter 20. Animation, Audio, and Video > Editing QuickTime Movies

Editing QuickTime Movies

Adobe GoLive includes one of the most powerful QuickTime movie-editing utilities around; in fact, it’s practically an entire application in itself, and it seems a shame to devote only a portion of one chapter to it. The QuickTime movie editor can be used to tweak and modify existing QuickTime movies, but where it really shines is in its capacity to build a movie from scratch using audio and visual elements.

When you open a QuickTime movie in GoLive, it opens in its own little window with a Preview tab and a Layout tab, as shown in Figure 20.15. The Layout tab includes rulers that measure in pixels. The Preview tab is selected by default, and it allows you to view the movie.
