Chapter 38. USING 3D MEDIA > DID YOU KNOW?

DID YOU KNOW?

  • You can stretch the 3D sprite to any size you want without hurting performance. You don't need to stick to 320 by 240.

  • You can still assign normal behaviors to a 3D sprite. For instance, if you have a small 3D sprite that shows a logo, you can assign an on mouseUp behavior to it so that it acts like a button.

  • All behavior-based changes to a 3D member will be erased when you close and then open the movie again. You can force this change with the Reset World button in the Shockwave 3D window.

  • If you are making a Shockwave movie that will stretch with the size of the browser window, the 3D sprites in your movie will stretch very nicely with the Stage size.
