Chapter 38. USING 3D MEDIA > DISPLAYING A 3D MODEL ON THE STAGE

DISPLAYING A 3D MODEL ON THE STAGE

You can place a 3D member on the Stage just like a bitmap or Flash member. Once there, you can use the Property Inspector to make some adjustments to it. You can also select the member in the Cast and use the Property Inspector to make adjustments before you ever place it on the Stage.

Once a Shockwave 3D member is on the Stage, you can stretch it or shrink it like a bitmap member. However, while bitmaps will not look very nice when stretched, Shockwave 3D was built so it can be stretched without losing any quality. In fact, you should feel free to stretch the sprite to fit any size you want. This should not affect quality or performance.
