LINEAR PRESENTATIONS

The simplest type of presentation is a linear presentation. Linear presentations are sometimes referred to as slideshows because they resemble the process of showing visuals with a slide projector.

The objective of a linear presentation is to present screens of information in a defined sequence. The movie should move from one screen to the next either automatically, after a period of time, or after some input, such as a keyboard press or a mouse click. You might even want to give the users the capability to back up one screen, just as a slide projector would.
