Chapter 8. OTHER MEMBER TYPES > CREATING CHECK BOXES

CREATING CHECK BOXES

If you examine a pushbutton's member properties, you can see that you can change its type. You can examine the properties by selecting the member in the Cast and clicking the Info button. You can choose either a pushbutton, check box, or radio button. All three of these button types are the same cast member, but with different settings. You can choose the other two types from the Tool palette as well.

The check box is a small square that users can click to signify a true or false value. You see them all the time in other software programs and even in Director's own dialog boxes.
