USING MUI XTRA DIALOG BOXES

The MUI Xtra (pronounced “moo-ee”) that comes with Director is used by various parts of the authoring environment to create dialog boxes similar to the ones that behaviors bring up when dropped onto a sprite. MUI stands for Macromedia User Interface, which is a set of guidelines that Macromedia follows for all its software products.

Macromedia also provided a straight Lingo interface for this Xtra, which enables you to create some standard and custom dialog boxes.
