CREATING ANIMATION BEHAVIORS

With Lingo, animation does not have to take place over several frames anymore. Instead, it can exist on a single frame as the movie loops on that frame. The possibilities are limitless, but the following two examples show some of them.

Bouncing off Walls

Changing the position of a sprite is easy enough to do. Moving one in a straight line is no great feat, because the Score and tweening already enable you to do this easily. With Lingo, however, you can create a behavior that makes a sprite react to its environment. For example, it can bounce off walls.
