Chapter 14. CREATING BEHAVIORS > USING COMPLETE BEHAVIORS

USING COMPLETE BEHAVIORS

A behavior script has many parts. However, they are all optional. When you are writing quick behaviors to take care of a single action for a single sprite, you might use only one handler with one command. However, for complete behaviors, you will want to include all the optional functions.

Behavior Descriptions

The only use for a behavior description is to have something to appear in the bottom area of the Behavior Inspector. However, because it is in your script as the on getBehaviorDescription function, it can also act as commentary in your script.
