USING VIDEO COMMANDS

There are more member and sprite properties for digital video than for any other media type. Because some of the properties are for the member and others for the sprite, it can get confusing. There are even functions involving QuickTime tracks that act like properties. For the sake of clarity, this section separates the properties for the members from the properties for the sprites.

Member Properties

Two groups of member properties are for digital video members: member properties and sprite properties. The first group corresponds exactly to the properties shown in the Property Inspector when you have a video member selected. The following is a brief list of the most common digital video member properties:
