USING CURSORS

There are three ways to change the cursor in Director 8. The first is to use the cursor command with a built-in cursor. The second way is to use the cursor command with one or two bitmaps that represent a black-and-white cursor. The third way is to use the Cursor Xtra to make colored or animated cursors.

Using Built-In Cursors

Using one of the 30 built-in cursors is simple with the cursor command. All you need to do is give the cursor command one of the cursor numbers to use. For instance, to change the cursor to a watch on the Mac or an hourglass in Windows, use the following:
