USING CUE POINTS

Accessing cue point information in Lingo is easy. There are a variety of commands and functions that you can use, as described here:

  • cuePointNamesA sound member property that returns a list of cue points in the sound.

  • cuePointTimesA sound member property that returns a list of times, in milliseconds, when cue points appear.

  • mostRecentCuePointReturns the number of the most recently passed cue point from a sound member or a Sound channel.

  • isPastCuePoint()Tells you whether the sound has already passed a cue point number.

  • on cuePassedA handler that responds to the event of a cue point in a sound being passed.
