DISTORTING SPRITES

So far, you have used the loc, locH, and locV properties to change the location of a sprite. Many additional properties determine the appearance of bitmaps.

The rect Property

The rect property was used in the slider and progress bar behaviors in Chapter 15, “Graphic Interface Elements,” to redefine the shape of rectangles. This same property can be used to stretch or shrink sprites.
