Chapter 11. ADVANCED TECHNIQUES > BUILDING YOUR OWN BEHAVIORS

BUILDING YOUR OWN BEHAVIORS

Until now, you have been using behaviors that were part of the ones included with Director. You will soon be able to make your own behaviors by writing Lingo. However, you can also create your own behaviors by simply using the Behavior Inspector. To access the Behavior Inspector, choose Window, Inspector, Behavior.

The Behavior Inspector window, shown in Figure 11.2, contains three text lists and some buttons above each. In the top list, you can add and remove behaviors to/from a sprite. You can use the behavior pop-up menu button at the upper-left to create a new behavior.
