Using Forms

Forms are used to gather various kinds of input from a user. Forms on different Web pages look more or less similar. The three basic components of a form are form objects, the Submit button, and form tags. Form objects let the user enter information. The Submit button lets the user submit the information to the Web server. Form tags contain the URL to the programming script or application at the server end to process the information submitted by the user.

Creating a Form

Dreamweaver UltraDev lets you create a form as well as add objects to it. The Forms category of the Objects panel lets you create a form and add objects such as text fields, buttons, check boxes, radio buttons, and list boxes to the form.
