In this section, you will insert Flash buttons into the Navigation.asp file. You will then link each of these buttons to a target file. Follow these steps:

1.
Open the Navigation.asp file.

2.
Insert a layer in the Navigation.asp file.

3.
Select the layer and enter 432x , 41px , 301px , and 23px in the L, T, W, and H text boxes of the Property inspector, respectively. The Layer ID for this layer is Layer1 by default.

4.
Insert a Flash button into Layer1 by choosing Insert, Interactive Images, Flash Button.

5.
In the Insert Flash Button dialog box, select the Glass-Silver option from the Style drop-down list.

6.
In the Button Text text box, type About Us . Select Verdana from the Font drop-down list and specify 12 in the Size text box. Specify #003366 in the Bg text box.

7.
In the Link text box, specify the target file as Aboutus.htm .

8.
Type Aboutus.swf in the Save As text box to save the button.

9.
Repeat steps 4[nd]6 to insert five more Flash buttons inside Layer1. The labels for these five buttons must be Login, Register, My Profile, My CD, and Help, respectively. The About Us, Login, and Register buttons must appear in one row, whereas the My Profile, My CD, and Help buttons must appear in the next row.

10.
The Login button must link to the file Login.asp that is in the folder Userdetails. Specify the path to the Login.asp file as \Userdetails\Login.asp in the Link text box of the Insert Flash Button dialog box of the Login button. Save this button as \Userdetails\Loginuser.swf.

11.
The Register button must link to the file Register.asp that is in the folder Userdetails. Specify the path to the Register.asp file as \Userdetails\Register.asp in the Link text box. Save this button as \Userdetails\Register.swf.

12.
When you create the button named My Profile, specify \Userdetails\Editprofile.asp in the Link text box of the Insert Flash Button dialog box and save the button as \Userdetails\Myprofile.swf. For the My CD button, specify ViewCD in the Link text box and save the button as Mycd.swf. For the Help button, specify the Help.asp file and save the button as Help.swf.
