Working Smart with CSS

CSS is wonderful not only because it’s new and efficient, but because it’s powerful. To make the most of Cascading Style Sheets, you have to be smart about using them.

Specifying Fonts in HTML (and CSS)

A lot of text-formatting chores got a lot better when CSS came along. Without CSS, you don’t have as many text sizes to choose from, you can’t indent or set margins, and so on. But the world of font choices is still the same as it always was. The CSS Style Definition dialog box, just like the non-CSS tools you used in previous Dreamweaver versions, gives you a drop-down menu of (not very exciting) font groups to choose from instead of the glamorous list of cool typefaces you desire. Why?
