Layers As Styled Objects

Although the Layer object is definitely the most obvious way to go about making layers in Dreamweaver, the story doesn’t end there! Any page element whose style includes an absolute or relative positioning property gets treated as a layer in Design view. This is great news because you might not like the way the Layer object codes things, but you still want to take advantage of the niceties of the layer interface in Design view.
