Close ’em Down, Joe

It’s a rare day in Cucamunga when I’m working on just one document in Dreamweaver. I might be moving a recordset from one page to another or comparing layouts in a static site or tweaking a style sheet and checking out the results. Whatever the workload, you can be sure I’ve got a load of files open at the same time. If you work the same way, there’s another chore ahead of you when it comes to quitting time: closing all those docs. In previous versions of Dreamweaver, you had to close each one individually. Well, Windows users had no choice but to take the long, hard road—Mac folk could always Option+Click the close widget of any document to close them all. Now folks in both camps can get out of Dodge immediately by choosing File > Close All. Now you can kick back just a wee bit sooner than before.
