CSS Renameroni

Ever run across a situation where you needed to rename a CSS style—but you’d already applied the style in a bunch of places and just couldn’t face the agony of hunting them all down? Well, now you can rename the style without the agony. To rename a style, right-click (Ctrl+Click) the style in the CSS panel and, from the context menu, choose—you guessed it—Rename. If you’re working with an internally defined style, Dreamweaver handles the renaming of both the style and all its applications with one small peep—a dialog box asking for the new name. If the style you’re renaming is in an external style sheet, however, Dreamweaver asks whether you want to use Find and Replace to handle the renaming for you. Answer Yes and up pops the Find and Replace dialog with all the appropriate parameters—including the regular expressions required—to complete the rename. Choose Replace All (or do it on a case-by-case basis if you want with Replace Next), and before you’re know it you’re good to go. See, no agony, just ecstasy!
