Aye, Aye, Caption!

The move to create accessible websites has been extremely beneficial to a wide range of people. But even if you’re not tasked with making your pages Section 508 compliant, you can spice up your tables—or at least make them more coherent—by using an accessibility oriented tag, <caption>. The <caption> ... </caption> tag pair is typically placed just after the opening <table> tag; by default, the caption (whatever is enclosed by the <caption> tag) appears above the table, but you can display it underneath by changing the align attribute to bottom.
