Easy Bake CSS-P

There’s just no doubt that Dreamweaver MX 2004 has shown tremendous improvements in the area of CSS to previous versions of Dreamweaver. I was pleasantly surprised to see that there are even six new “Page Designs” that use CSS positioning (also known as CSS-P). Select File > New and in the New Document dialog you’ll find the Page Design (CSS) category. A list of six different layouts will appear in the list on the right. After you select the layout you like and click Create, you’ll be prompted to save the document and then you’ll be asked to save the dependant CSS and other files. After you’ve done this, you’ll be able to customize the layout however you like by modifying the CSS file and replacing the placeholder content with your own. Studying and changing the CSS file while viewing the results is a great way to learn about CSS-P.
