Export CSS Biz

Since I tend to hand-code most of my CSS, I like to create a document’s initial CSS in the same document rather than in an external CSS file. Doing it this way saves me all the time spent toggling between the document I’m styling and the external CSS file. Once I get the CSS just right, I right-click (Ctrl+Click) inside the <style> block and choose CSS Styles> Export. Then I specify the CSS file that I want to use or type the name of a new one as prompted by the Export Styles As CSS File dialog box. Now I attach the CSS file by right-clicking (Ctrl+Clicking) in the <style> block and choosing CSS Styles > Manage Styles, and then I click the Attach button and complete the resulting dialog box. Finally, I manually delete the CSS from the document by first clicking the CSS icon in the Head Content bar. (Choose View > Head Content if you don’t have it enabled already.) By now you may have noticed that I eliminated almost all need for the CSS Styles panel, which keeps my workflow moving along quickly.
