King of All Media

Being the CSS jockey you are, you’re probably aware that a style sheet can be targeted to specific media. One popular use of this feature is to include one style sheet for the screen and another for print. The W3C specifies nine different media attribute values, and these are at your fingertips in Dreamweaver. To specify a media type, link your page to an external style sheet, either via the CSS Styles panel by hand-coding. Then, place your cursor at the end of the <link> tag and press the spacebar; the CSS code hints display. Press M for media and then press Enter (Return) to confirm that choice. Presto—all nine media types are at your beck and call. Select any one from the hint list and crown yourself King of All Media. (Just don’t tell Howard.)
