Back and Forth

This is probably the quickest way to get to exactly where you need to be in the code to do your editing and get back to Design view when done. Instead of scrolling through Code view to get where you need to be, first click in Design view and then press Ctrl+Backquote (Command+Backquote) to switch to the area of Code view that corresponds to the cursor’s position in Design view. (Never heard of Backquote before? It’s the same as the Tilde [~] key.) Use the same shortcut to jump to the place in Design view that corresponds to Code view. If you’re the menu-using type, you could use View > Switch Views to toggle back and forth between Code and Design views. If you’re using Code and Design views simultaneously (also known as Split view), your cursor position is all that changes, but if you’re using one view or another, the actual view changes and places your cursor accordingly.
