Oops, Backspace...

You’re hand-coding, a code hint pops up, and you make a typo...so, of course, you instinctively press the Backspace key. The only problem is that now you don’t get the code hints until you press the Spacebar again. Instead of pressing the Backspace key once, you press it again, and then press the Spacebar so you can move forward once and see the code hints again. Gee, what a pain that is! You needn’t go through that anymore. Next time you make a mistake, press Backspace to remove your error, and then press Ctrl+Spacebar (Command+Spacebar) to pop up the Code Hints menu again. Your cursor stays in place; it does not move forward. Now you can take advantage of the code hints provided. This technique works in Code view or the Quick Tag Editor. If you’ve altered the timing of Code Hints in Preferences, this shortcut can also come in handy to display the hints faster than your Preferences setting.
