Autocomplete Forms

Assuming the user hasn’t tweaked his browser settings, AutoComplete for single-line text fields is turned on by default in Internet Explorer. You can disable this feature on a textfield or the entire form if so desired by adding autocomplete="off" to either the <form> tag or on a case-by-case basis in <input> tags. The perfect place to do this in Dreamweaver is in the Attribute tab of the Tag inspector. At the bottom of the Property sheet, just add the autocomplete attribute on the left, and the off value on the right.

On the other hand, if want to take advantage of AutoComplete—as long as it is enabled—you can add the vcard_name attribute with one of several schema names. You can find a list of those schema names with examples at:http://msdn.microsoft.com/workshop/author/forms/autocomplete_ovr.asp
